The Mont Sangbe National Park
This park is north of the town of Man and west of the Sassandra river. It covers an area of 95,000 hectares and is in a mountainous region (14 peaks above 1000 metres). The park has a large animal population and very dense vegetation. The main animals which live there are elephants, roan antelopes, baboons, leopards, hyenas and numerous species of birds. Visitors to the park can stay in hotels in the towns of Touba, Biankouman or Man.
