Abokouamekro Animal Reserve
The reserve is 50 km from Yamoussoukro and is in an in an exceptionally beautiful area. It covers 21,000 hectares, of which 7230 hectares are fenced and managed. It includes a 350-hec-tare lake and 120 km of tracks which make it easily accessible. The animals living there include hippos and white rhinos. Accommodation is available in Yamoussoukro which is only a short drive away.
